Costs of War

Norah Niland is Co-Founder and Executive Member of United Against Inhumanity (UAI) and Research Associate at the Centre on Conflict, Development and Peace-building at The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. She has spent much of her professional life with the United Nations, focused on humanitarian, human rights, and development issues. During her last UN assignment, Niland was the Director of Human Rights in UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan and Representative of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. Currently, Norah is focused on advancing the agenda of United Against Inhumanity.
