        Biography
Zoë Wool is a scholar of U.S. warmaking. She has conducted ethnographic fieldwork with grievously injured US soldiers and their families living at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, as well as at other military and veteran sites in the US and abroad. Wool is the author of numerous peer-reviewed articles about the ongoing effects of war in soldiers’ and veteran's lives as well as the award winning monograph After War: The Weight of Life at Walter Reed.
